 Any and all AMA Chartered clubs or promoters "MUST"
complete the Risk Management Workshop "EVERY YEAR". AMA Risk Management Workshops now need to be viewed online EVERY YEAR instead of every two years. And a signed affidavit stating the workshop has been viewed is required with your charter renewal application. This is done because officers often change from year to year. We highly recommend that, in addition to your risk management officer, your registration staff, crew, and any volunteers view the video. It’s very helpful for everyone on your team to know the processes and procedures for putting on an AMA-sanctioned event. And it gives you tips to reduce your risks for your event.
The easiest
way to do this is to go to the link below and view the video on-line. When you have completed this, simply download
the Affidavit of Review and mail it to the address on the affidavit form. AMA District 4 will also have a video presentation
of the Risk Management Workshop from 12:00 p.m. to 1:00 p.m. on Sunday December 4, 2011 at the Days Inn in Batavia, NY. just
prior to the district meeting at 1:00 p.m. Affidavit forms will be available after the viewing. _____________________________________________________________________
